Overall Purpose of Job:

We are looking for a hands-on Global Mobility Expert to manage international assignments across multiple locations. In this role, you will ensure mobility cases are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on employee experience. You will combine operational case management with process improvement and close collaboration across HR, business leaders, and external partners.

Your Responsibilities

Global Mobility Program Management

  • Manage global mobility policies, processes, and standards across different assignment types.
  • Maintain and improve policy elements such as eligibility, benefits, cost controls, and approvals.

Assignment Management

  • Manage the full lifecycle of international assignments, including assessment, offer and letter support, pre-assignment planning, onboarding, in-assignment support, extensions, repatriation, and post-assignment transition.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to define assignment objectives, timelines, and expected outcomes.
  • Guide employees and their families throughout the assignment process to ensure a smooth experience.

Compliance, Tax & Immigration

  • Coordinate immigration and work authorization processes with external providers and local stakeholders.
  • Work with tax advisors on tax briefings, tax equalization/protection, and year-end compliance.
  • Monitor and help mitigate risks related to social security, payroll, permanent establishment, and labour law.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with mobility vendors, including relocation, immigration, tax, destination services, and moving companies.
  • Act as a trusted mobility expert for internal stakeholders and regional HR teams.

Cost Management & Reporting

  • Prepare assignment cost estimates and budgets.
  • Track mobility-related costs and variances.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and optimize mobility spend.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Global Mobility or International Assignment Management.
  • Strong experience in direct case management, not only policy or advisory work.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries or entities is an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of payroll, tax coordination, and immigration processes.
  • Strong understanding of global mobility operations and assignment lifecycle management.
  • Experience with HR systems, case management tools, and mobility trackers.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage.
  • Additional languages are a plus.

What You Bring

  • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and execution-focused mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a dynamic international environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to employee experience.
