Salary
Job description
Located in the heart of San Antonio, this is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded Optometrist to step into a unique sublease role within a well-established onsite clinic serving employees and their families. Ideal for a doctor who is passionate about delivering quality eye care, values autonomy, and is eager to build within a supportive healthcare setting backed by a large, well-known employer, this urgent opening is targeting a July start. An active license is required, and professionals available to begin on July 1, 2026, or later in July are strongly preferred.
Why join us?
At this onsite clinic in San Antonio, you’ll have the opportunity to provide comprehensive vision care to employees and their families in a well-supported healthcare environment designed for both convenience and quality care. This sublease opportunity offers a newly established clinic setting with access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and pretesting equipment, enabling you to focus on exam-based care such as primary eye exams, contact lens fittings, and medical billing support. Located within employee medical facilities and connected to additional healthcare resources like an on-site pharmacy and dental services, the clinic creates a seamless patient experience while offering a practical and appealing care model for the provider. Compensation is based on exams performed, with a low monthly rent of $300 and a $300 Eyefinity EHR license fee, and as an added incentive, rent is waived for the first six months. With a manageable patient volume of approximately one to two patients per day and a turnkey space already equipped for care delivery, this is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist seeking autonomy, flexibility, and room to grow in a unique practice setting.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate is a motivated, patient-focused Optometrist who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized eye care, and creating a positive experience for every patient. This opportunity is well suited for a doctor who can practice independently, is confident managing the full scope of optometric care in a sublease setting, and enjoys educating patients on proper eye health and vision care practices. A strong understanding of ocular disease and clinical care is important, and an active Texas license is required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
