Data Engineer
Job description
Your responsibilities will include
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize and manage data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability. •
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our data infrastructure
What we expect from you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. •
