Private Sector Housing/Environmental Health Officer

Make a real difference to people’s lives by joining our growing Private Sector Housing Team as an Environmental Health Officer or Private Sector Housing Officer. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll help improve housing standards across Cornwall - either responding to tenant requests in the private rented sector, tackling poor conditions and hazards, or working within our House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Team inspecting properties, processing licences, and dealing with unlicensed licensable HMOs. As we continue to expand to meet the challenges of the Renters Rights Act and wider regulatory demands, there are increasing opportunities to get involved in high-impact work, develop your expertise, and progress within a supportive, forward-looking service where your work genuinely matters.
