Job description

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.

The DCX Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting DCX’s Information Security program through day-to-day security monitoring, initial alert review, documentation, coordination, and security operations support. This role assists in identifying and tracking security threats, vulnerabilities, access concerns, and control gaps while ensuring findings are properly documented, escalated, and followed through based on established processes.

The Information Security Analyst works closely with the Information Security Team, IT Support, GRC, SOC, MSP, and internal stakeholders to support incident response, vulnerability management, access reviews, security awareness, and other operational security activities. This role is expected to develop foundational security knowledge while contributing to the continuous improvement of DCX’s overall security posture.

Ideal Candidates Will Be

  • Security Mindset & Professional Accountability — Recognizes and responds to security risks with sound judgment, treats confidentiality and integrity as baseline expectations, and takes full ownership of actions and errors.

  • Continuous Learning & Intellectual Curiosity — Proactively builds knowledge in security tools, threat concepts, and investigation methods, staying current with evolving practices beyond what the role requires.

  • Process Adherence & Operational Discipline — Follows established workflows, escalation paths, and documentation standards with consistency, while identifying opportunities to improve team processes over time.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partners effectively with Information Security, IT Operations, GRC, SOC, MSP, and business teams to advance shared security objectives across organizational boundaries.

  • Clear & Effective Communication — Conveys security findings, risks, and updates accurately and concisely — adapting technical detail to the audience, whether writing tickets, escalating incidents, or briefing non-technical stakeholders.

  • Perform security monitoring and analysis across alerts, logs, and events to detect, investigate, and escalate potential threats, anomalies, and policy violations.

  • Perform initial review and triage of security alerts, phishing reports, suspicious activity, and endpoint security events, escalating alerts that require deeper investigation to the Information Security Specialists.

  • Coordinate security incident response activities by gathering relevant information, documenting findings, tracking actions, and coordinating with appropriate teams.

  • Track security findings from scans, audits, and assessments, ensuring timely remediation and clear status reporting.

  • Review and handle security-related service requests based on established procedures, escalating complex issues to senior team members when needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for security tickets, incidents, procedures, playbooks, and recurring operational tasks.

  • Support security awareness initiatives by helping track reported issues, recurring user concerns, phishing trends, and common security gaps.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, ticketing systems, and security tools is an advantage.

  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ-900, or similar certifications are preferred but not required.
