Overview
Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Directs all efforts and activities associated with the specific site operations where located. Responsible for the overall coordination, guidance, and direction of the practices, processes, and programs for the associated assigned inpatient and/or outpatient service area (i.e., Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language-Pathology, Therapeutic Activities Services, Psychology, Audiology and Day Rehabilitation).
Responsibilities
- Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Creates, manages and integrates the delivery of quality physical, occupational and speech therapy services for both outpatient and inpatient populations
- Creates and facilitates orientation of new employees, volunteers and students.
- Identifies new service needs in the community and recommends new programming.
- Assists Director with the development of Business Plans and implementation of new programs.

- Bachelor's Degree

Licenses & Certifications
- Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise
