Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills
Functional
- Strong Analytical, Logical and Communication Skills (written, oral, one to one, presentation, negotiation, influencing, assertive) and collaboration skills to enable effective liaison with others as necessary to achieve objectives.
- Strong ability to apply processes consistently and rigorously.
- Effective time management ability.
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.

Technical
- Fluent depth of knowledge and command of the overall IBM i (iSeries) Architecture.
- OS Installation/Upgradation.
- LPAR/HMC Management.
- Network administration and management.
- Strong understanding of iSeries Capacity/Performance Management process, Apache Web Server configuration, Backup & Recovery procedures, management of software's used for Data Replication, Job Scheduling, etc.
- Working knowledge of iSeries security and Auditing process.
- Knowledge of Thenon SEE/Change CM (Source Version Control Tool).
- Development skills including CL, RPG variants including and full ILE and SQL including stored procedures and functions.
- Awareness of the industry best practices, SDLC process flow and ITIL.
- Good command of Microsoft office suite.
- Knowledge of Mimix, Qlik Replicate CDC, MQ series configuration, Halcyon, Genius Application, CA WebUI, Service-now is desirable.
Beneficial/ Desirable
- CI/CD / DevOps experience - Some experience of working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment as part of a DevOps delivery would be beneficial
- TDM experience - Test data management experience would be beneficial to support future initiatives focussed on testing and quality assurance, involving the creation, maintenance, and provisioning of data with AI tool exposure.
