A primary focus of this role is the development and ownership of meaningful KPIs across our Pricing Solutions team, particularly across out-of-network (OON) processes. This individual will partner closely with operations and leadership to define how performance is measured, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and ensure data is actively used to drive day-to-day decision-making.

This role requires a balance of hands-on analytical execution and strategic thinking, with a strong emphasis on improving operational outcomes through data.

What You’ll Do

Operate within daily operational data to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and surface actionable insights

Develop, refine, and own KPIs that measure performance across operational workflows, with a strong focus on Pricing Solutions processes

Establish leading indicators to proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and performance gaps

Partner with operations leadership to align KPIs with business objectives and drive accountability

Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency

Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end operational workflows, particularly within Pricing Solutions processes (e.g., pricing, reimbursement, negotiation)

Identify breakdowns, inefficiencies, and variation in performance across workflows

Conduct root cause analysis to diagnose systemic issues impacting cost, quality, and throughput

Partner with operations teams to design, test, and implement process improvements in real time

Support continuous improvement efforts using data-driven insights

Analytics, Reporting & Data Utilization

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that support daily operational decision-making

Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and accessible across operational reporting

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both frontline teams and leadership

Evolve reporting from descriptive to diagnostic (and where possible, predictive) analytics

Drive standardization of performance reporting across teams

Cross-Functional Partnership

Act as a liaison between operations, data/technology teams, and leadership

Partner with stakeholders to ensure data definitions, metrics, and reporting align with operational reality

Influence decision-making through data storytelling and clear recommendations

Support prioritization of initiatives based on data-driven impact

Own analytical initiatives from problem definition through execution and measurement of outcomes

Establish frameworks to quantify the impact of process improvements and efficiency gains

Continuously refine KPIs and analytical approaches to increase business value

Ensure improvements are measurable, sustainable, and scalable

Collaborate cross-departmentally to achieve results as intended.

Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy.
