As a Spr, Outpatient Rehab III at MercyOne Genesis, you will:

•

Oversee daily operation and staff assignment and assumes interim administrative responsibility in the event of the manager's absence

•

Provide clinical direction as well as completes staff performance reviews of direct patient care staff

•

Assist manager in budget development as well as analysis of budgetary performance and variances, as well as productivity management

•

Assist manager in the identification of need for the procurement of supplies

•

Assist manager in recruitment and hiring of staff, new staff orientation, and implementation/follow through with the corrective action process

•

Assist manager in ensuring compliance of staff with identified clinical skill development, competencies, and state practice guidelines

•

Assist manager in performance improvement activities, data collection/analysis, and project design

•

Facilitate and operationalize departmental and institutional policies and procedures

•

Assist manager in preparation for the compliance with regulatory agencies

•

Help identify program development needs and assists in implementation

•

Assist manager in representing the Rehabilitation department on departmental and hospital wide committees as deemed appropriate

•

Provide direct patient care

General Requirements

•

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy; Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy or related field

•

Licensed or eligible for state license

•

More than 2 years experience required

•

Basic Life Support within 6 months
