Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (10+ years experience) or 20+ years of relevant experience
- 7–10+ years in commercial and/or industrial construction
- Current CQM Certification (USACE/NAVFAC) (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
- Experience with change management and quality control processes
- Proficiency with construction software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to walk job sites, climb ladders/stairs, and perform inspections daily
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Manage QC documentation, submittals, and daily reports
- Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with project specs
- Lead QC meetings and coordinate with project teams
- Conduct inspections (preparatory, initial, and follow-up)
- Ensure materials meet approved standards
- Track inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Maintain as-built drawings and closeout documentation
- Identify and resolve quality or compliance issues
- Stop work when necessary to ensure safety and quality
