Ready to drive results and build connections? Join Radisson hotel group as an Account Manager!

Are you ambitious, commercially driven, and passionate about building meaningful client relationships? Do you enjoy spotting opportunities, making smart decisions, and delivering results? If so, we’re looking for someone like you to join our team.

About the Role

As an Account Manager for Radisson Hotel Group, you will play a key role in driving business across two flagship properties: Radisson Blu Leeds and Radisson York.

This is a portfolio role, with accountability for developing, prioritising and growing a diverse mix of accounts across the corporate, BGR, MICE and leisure segments for Radisson Hotel Group globally.

You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing account base, while also proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities across the Yorkshire market and key feeder locations.

Working closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Hotel Operations, you will ensure that business is not just won, but won profitably and sustainably, balancing volume, rate, and long-term value.

What Makes This Role Special?

This is not just about managing accounts, it is about owning a commercial portfolio and making smart, strategic decisions.

In this role you will:

  • Drive Revenue: Deliver profitable, sustainable growth across both Leeds and York
  • Own a Portfolio: Prioritise where to focus your time based on value, potential and strategic fit
  • Win New Business: Identify, target and convert new opportunities with a clear and structured approach
  • Think Commercially: Balance rate, volume, margin and displacement to maximise performance
  • Grow Accounts: Move beyond relationship management to deliver measurable account growth

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate, agency, MICE and leisure accounts
  • Segment and prioritise accounts based on revenue potential, profitability and growth opportunity
  • Proactively identify and win new business across the local and regional market
  • Build strong, credible relationships with clients and key internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue teams to ensure rate integrity and optimal business mix
  • Represent Radisson Hotel Group at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings
  • Deliver clear account plans and measurable commercial outcomes

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a commercially focused Account Manager who can combine strong relationship skills with structure, discipline and strategic thinking.

You will bring:

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to make informed trade-offs
  • Experience managing and growing a portfolio of accounts
  • A proactive approach to new business generation
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and focus on what drives the most value
  • Confidence and credibility when dealing with a range of stakeholders
  • Clear, structured communication and a calm, professional presence
  • Curiosity about the market and a desire to continuously improve

Experience across corporate, MICE, groups or leisure segments within hospitality is highly desirable.

Why Radisson Hotel Group?

  • Annual Bonus Scheme
  • Car Allowance
  • Special hotel rates worldwide for team members
  • Contributory Pension Scheme & Life Assurance
  • Healthcare and Employee Assistance Programme through UNUM
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • Fantastic training and development opportunities
