Pharmacy Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician III works under the direct supervision of registered pharmacists in accordance with Florida law, rules, and regulations. Responsible for assisting and supporting pharmacists in various aspects of the medication use process in a patient focused manner that supports and promotes medication safety, as well as responsibility for supporting the preparation and distribution of medications. The Pharmacy Technician III works in more advanced technician roles than Pharmacy Technician I's and II's.

Required Qualifications

  • Require active registration as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern in the State of Florida.
  • Require Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification.
  • Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
  • Require two (2) years of experience in a Pharmacy Technician role within SMHCS or comparable organization.
