SOBRE EL TRABAJO Demand Planning Product Analyst Do you enjoy turning data into insights that drive better business decisions? We are looking for a Demand Planning Product Analyst to help shape and evolve demand planning solutions that improve forecast quality, collaboration, and decision‑making across the business. Note that this role is reporting to IT teams. SOBRE TI What you’ll do Act as a key link between Demand Planning, and IT teams. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs. Support and continuously improve forecasting, demand review, and S&OP capabilities. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with global, cross‑functional teams. Analyze data to validate assumptions, support functional testing, and investigate issues. Contribute to end‑to‑end planning solutions, ensuring data quality and integration consistency. What you bring Experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT / Data environments. Solid understanding of Demand Planning concepts, planning cycles, and key demand KPIs. Experience working with advanced planning platforms such as o9 (preferred), SAP IBP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, Anaplan, or similar. Strong analytical mindset with hands‑on skills in Excel (PivotTables, formulas, data reconciliation). Basic SQL knowledge to extract and validate data. Ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders and turn insights into actionable solutions. Comfortable working with digital tools, functional testing, and AI‑enabled Office tools (e.g., Copilot) MUST HAVE: Experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within IT / Data. Ability to write clear and structured functional requirements and user stories. Basic understanding of ERP integrations and Master data concepts (Specifically SAP). Excel proficiency: formulas, PivotTables, data cleanup (e.g., XLOOKUP/INDEX MATCH), and reconciling large datasets. SQL fundamentals: ability to write basic SELECT queries with WHERE/ORDER BY/JOIN/GROUP BY to extract and validate data. Integration literacy: understanding of interface concepts (messages, logs, retries, transports) across o9 ↔ MuleSoft ↔ SAP. Comfortable working with data analysis, functional testing, and issue investigation. Spanish fluency is required (role based in Mexico with daily interactions in Spanish). English fluency is mandatory (role supports US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico). Structured, detail‑oriented, and proactive. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Ability to work in a global and multicultural environment. Desirable: Good Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies. Concrete experience in at least one Supply Chain Planning domain (e.g., demand planning, network planning, master planning, deployment, detailed scheduling, MRP). At ease with Office based AI tools (Copilot) A minimum of 3 years in planning technology roles (implementation/transformation); end-to-end delivery of at least one workstream (e.g., demand, supply, S&OP, production planning) 3+ years of experience with at least one advanced planning system, such as: o9 (preferred), SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, OMP, Blue Yonder (JDA), Anaplan, or similar. Ability to partner with business leaders to shape requirements and configure solutions to outcomes It's a PLUS: CPG/FMCG experience preferred. Understanding planning concepts, planning cycles, Key supply chain planning KPIs, and cross functional impacts. Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira). Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria. Ensure requirements meet Definition of Ready (DoR) standards. Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives). Validate deliveries according to Definition of Done (DoD). Road mapping & Solution Design Understand business objectives, pain points, improvement opportunities, frame problems and value hypotheses. Build implementation of roadmaps/release plans aligned with business priorities and industry best practices. Conduct fit–gap and options analysis; design solutions that prefer out‑of‑the‑box and configurable capabilities of planning tools, minimizing custom build. Define requirements for baseline and solution design (process, data, configuration) and contribute to high-level plans for releases and workstreams. Business & Stakeholder Interaction Act as the key interface between planning users and IT & Data teams. Clarify functional questions and support business decision making. Communicate system changes, fixes, and enhancements to stakeholders. Contribute to change management activities during releases and rollouts. Planning Processes (Demand and/or Supply) Depending on experience and placement, support processes such as: Forecast creation, adjustments, and performance monitoring. Product lifecycle management (NPI, phase-in / phase-out). Network & production planning, master planning, and deployment planning. Detailed scheduling and material requirements planning (MRP). Understanding the impact of planning data on upstream and downstream processes. Systems, Data & Quality Support Demand Planning systems and their integrations with ERP platforms. Perform technical data validation and coordinate issue resolution. Analyze incidents and data inconsistencies, identifying root causes. Support operational activities such as data validation, checks, and recovery. Continuous Improvement Identify improvement opportunities in tools, processes, and ways of working. Run pilots/POCs, standardize documentation, and support regional/global deployments. Contribute to documentation and process standardization. Understand and formalize value realization (adoption, cycle time, forecast accuracy, plan adherence, inventory/svc trade‑offs). Support regional or global deployments, pilots, and enhancements. SOBRE TI Technical & Functional Skills Experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within IT / Data. Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
