Payroll Specialist

• Execute the payroll process for all Mexico entities (hourly and salaried), manual check calculation
• Manage relationships with local payroll providers and government entities such as SAT, IMSS, etc.
• Support Payroll Manager in movements employee related in IDSE and SUA
• Execute hiring process before the IMSS and other government agencies
• Calculations and compliance with employer obligations
• Ensure an accurate and timely payroll calculation, employee payments, PTU calculation, INFONAVIT/FONACOT, time tracking/overtime calculation, shadow payroll, payroll taxes, pension plan, statutory and supplemental benefits, vacations days, vacation premium, christmas bonus and all payroll calculation related topics
• Federal/state/ local tax reconciliations supporting Payroll Manager
• Perform timely and accurate month-end close process for all Mexico entities, including account reconciliations and accruals in local GAAPS
• Collaborate cross-functionally on process improvements and efficiencies supporting Payroll Manager for Mexico
• Co-lead the payroll implementation process for new facilities/states as needed
• Co-lead implementation projects with payroll vendors as needed
• Work on timely and correct filings and ensure secondary payroll obligations are met and implemented
