Rig Welder - Boiler Economizers

Have Economizer Boiler Welding Experience? We Want to Hear From You. We're hiring certified DSP Rig Welders for an upcoming economizer boiler project. Candidates must have proven experience on boiler projects and hold current H2S Alive, CSO, and Confined Space Entry certifications.

This job posting is open to Direct Service Providers (DSP) Rig Welders

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Weld metal parts as specified by layout or welding diagram (blue prints, engineering drawings and weld specifications)
• Fabricate and assemble fixtures, tooling, shop aids and other devises as required for special projects
• Ensure quality of welds and rework as required
• Perform basic troubleshooting of weld machines and accessories as required
• Provide data for cause and failure analysis
• Take part in planning and scheduling within work systems
• Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications

• Journeyman Welder (Red Seal preferred)
• CWB Certification
• Strong understanding of production processes and welding equipment
• MIG welding experience
• Flux Cored Arc experience (FCAW)
• Stick and Shielded Metal Arc experience (SMAW)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
