The Opportunity
Team description
The paralegal position provides support to the team of Knowledge Lawyers within the Corporate division.
Key responsibilities
•
Assisting the Knowledge Lawyers in monitoring developments of law and practice
•
Conducting research, using internet and other research tools
•
Helping to manage specialist online and legal know-how materials
•
Writing and testing approved AI prompts
•
Helping optimise the firm’s curated knowledge for AI
•
Assisting with the document management of precedents
•
Creating and maintaining online know-how
•
Distributing know-how materials to relevant members of the Group
•
Administrative tasks
Qualifications, skills and experience
•
Educated to at least degree level
•
Exposure to company law (whether through degree/LPC/SQE or previous employment)
•
IT skills (in MS office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new IT skills and other database systems
•
AI literate
•
Experience in conducting indepth internet searches
•
6 months to a year’s work experience in an office based environment (preferable but not essential)
•
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
