Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Morristown, NJ. (covering Morris and Sussex county)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities

Supervise a team of ( +25 ) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices

Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs

Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary

Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking

Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals

Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions

Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions

Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management

Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients

Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices

Provide resolution of any patient or client issues

Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed

Travel to additional sites as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

1 year or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports

5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

2 years or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports

6 years or more experience as a phlebotomist

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Be at least 21 years’ old

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others. **Salary Range: $54,000 - $75,000 per year

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
