Ancestry is looking for a Content Project Requirements Supervisor to join our Content team in Lehi, Utah. You will create a productive and thriving work environment while leading the team to meet and exceed expectations. You have management experience (preferably in a production environment), exhibit technical training and motivational skills, and are an effective leader. An essential element of success for this position is leading the production team to exceed production targets and quality expectations. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Contracts and Requirements in Content Production.
What You Will Do
- You will monitor production capacity and achievement, assign tasks, identify and resolve potential issues, and schedule daily.
- You will observe adherence to quality standards and policies.
- You will provide clear expectations for your team and provide regular training to motivate and mentor team members, and address areas for improvement.
- You will collaborate across teams to maintain and support consistent practices within a global department.
- You will direct project load balancing among team members for most effective project time management.
- You will support operational responsibilities when needed to accommodate fluctuations in workload.
- You will drive consistency and best practices in all things that are involved in the project instruction creation process.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have 4 years previous supervisory experience (experience in a production environment preferred), training and motivating employees.
- You maneuver frequent changes in the work environment well.
- You have a desire to improve performance and increase knowledge.
- You have a knowledge of historical record transcription process.
- You have interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft office, with experience in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- You have experience with Workfront.
- You have experience reading historical handwritten records.
- You will travel to the Lehi, Utah office once per quarter. #LI-SW1
