Ancestry seeks a Senior Manager of Product Commercialization Business Operations to define and execute the operational approach Ancestry uses to launch and scale products globally. In this newly created role, this person will work with key stakeholders and senior executives to ensure cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and help the team stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations. An ideal candidate has an analytical, technical, and operational skillset, and can apply data insights and critical thinking to make recommendations and implement them. This role reports to our Director of Product Commercialization Operations and is part of our Global Commercialization Strategy & Operations team.

What You'll Do

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute the launch commercialization playbook for new offerings
  • Establish a product launch calendar and processes acting as a single point of contact to provide project status updates
  • Steward cross-portfolio business operations collaborating with the Product Commercialization leads
  • Continuously align and improve processes that provide visibility and alignment across the company
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, design and implement key success metrics for product commercialization activities, measuring the impact and efficiency of new products and processes
  • Design and build business intelligence tools and dashboards for the product commercialization team

Who You Are

  • You are a three dimensional critical thinker able to see how all of the puzzle pieces fit into broader commercialization organization, able to synthesize and build operational systems and processes, and can effectively manage and communicate those processes.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the consumer focused technology, health or eCommerce industry in a consulting, finance, business operations or marketing function; analytics or operations experience at a high-growth company a plus
  • 3+ years of cross-functional project management having led major projects or initiatives
  • Proven track record of leading operational excellence projects, turning your strategic recommendations into operational reality
  • Experience designing and implementing process improvement projects from start to finish in a resource-constrained environment
  • Power user status in Excel, Tableau, Google Sheets/Slides and SQL
  • Experience telling stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences and creating clear and compelling visualizations to convey complex data
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to create a trusted advisor relationship with business partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, prioritize, and handle multiple work streams simultaneously in a dynamic and rapidly-changing environment
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university required. Concentration in market research, statistics, math, economics, business or similarly relevant field of study; graduate degree a plus GD-Sponsored IND1 #LI-HK1
