Achieve Team Lilly purpose; creating superior value for our Customers (payers, providers and patients) by role modeling TEAM LILLY expectations to lead and inspire the Sales Organization, partnering cross-functionally to achieve/exceed Business Results for Derma Portfolio in private and government market.

  • Develops sales leaders by providing a variety of experiences, monitoring progress and coaching/mentoring as appropriate.

  • Utilizes situational leadership and effective coaching to help sales representatives continuously improve their skills and performance
  • Lead Sales Organization through change: Communicates rationale and benefits of change required and how it will positively affect the business and team’s work practices and performance.

  • Create customer value externally: Identifies, prioritizes and builds strategic business partnerships with key customers and institutions.
  • Accepts accountability and risk for new strategies and initiatives while role modeling how to implement changes needed
  • Displays openness to new ideas and innovations that will make the team better.
  • Create customer value internally: Represents the “Voice of the Customer” to Lilly by communicating customer concerns and issues back to the Marketing, Medical, Sales and Compliance areas.
  • Develop high performing / high integrity Team: Sets high expectations for team around compliance, then role models and coaches to these expectations
  • Assists Sales Rep in their acceptance, leadership and implementation of change.

DELIVER

  • Cultivates a network both internally and externally to solve problems and continually adjust to marketplace dynamics.
  • Demonstrates full understanding of district environment and priorities while effectively analyzing all potential obstacles and roadblocks.
  • Partners cross-functionally to develop a comprehensive business plan that supports corporate, area and brand strategies.
  • Identifies opportunities and threats based on knowledge of therapeutic area, brand strategy, local market, customer needs and healthcare/payer environment
  • To lead and develop a high performing team to make things happen
  • Develops a strategic plan that defines what inputs (e.g. brands, people, resources) and strengths can be leveraged to capture opportunities while reducing threats and weaknesses.
  • Holds self and team accountable for building long-term customer value and achieving business objectives.
  • Creates environment where sales team is encouraged to proactively identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Encourages and rewards the evaluation of plans, and the adjustment/improvement of plans through learning – even learning through failure.
