Role Overview:

At Cargoo we are looking for a Business & Quality Analyst to join our BI & Data team — a curious problem-solver who bridges business needs and technical solutions. You’ll work closely with our data engineers and product teams to translate data into actionable insights, ensure data quality and help build reliable data products and BI services that drive smarter decisions.

Problem space:

Data and business operations today are still largely:

• business requirements lost in translation between teams

• manual testing and quality checks with no structured process

• documentation that’s outdated or missing entirely

• data products built without clear acceptance criteria

• quality issues discovered too late in the delivery cycle

• disconnected collaboration between business and engineering

What you will be doing:

• bridging business needs and technical solutions across the BI & Data team

• testing new features and data products, and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation

• turning business requirements into actionable engineering tasks

• driving quality and clarity throughout the data product lifecycle

• actively using AI tools across analysis, testing and documentation workflows

What we expect from you:

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.

• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into Jira tickets, including writing clear acceptance criteria.

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for extracting insights during requirements analysis.

• Manual testing experience.

• Understanding of QA processes and test case creation.

• Ability to write and maintain clear, structured documentation for technical features.

• Familiarity with dbt is a plus.
