You transform the customer's complex electrical requirements into a custom-made technical design and you calculate the project costs. You work in projectteams together with specialists in water technology, structural engineering, and climate technology. Together, you operate as one cohesive technical unit. You design the infrastructure, both electrical and computertechnical. As a Sales Engineer in Electrical Engineering, you play a key role in connecting all elements of the project design process. Your responsibilities include: - Creating layout drawings in AutoCAD; - Performing cable and power calculations; - Calculating project costs, including labor, in our ERP system; - Supporting the estimating team in striving for continuous improvement through process optimization, integrating new market/product developments into your designs, and applying new practical insights; - Consulting with suppliers on both technical and commercial topics; - Preparing quotations and reviewing them with the sales team. Our sales representatives will present your proposal to the customer; - Collaborating with the sales team on the design.
