Job description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Support the administration and execution of security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD regulations, Intelligence Community directives, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Process personnel security actions including clearance submissions, visit requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, reinvestigations, and recurring security requirements.
  • Utilize DISS, NISS, NBIS, SWFT, and related government systems to manage personnel and facility security activities.
  • Maintain security documentation including SF-312s, DD-254s, visit authorizations, clearance records, security files, and related compliance records.
  • Conduct security briefings, debriefings, annual refresher training, and specialized security awareness sessions.
  • Support facility self-inspections, DCSA assessments, customer reviews, and corrective action implementation.
  • Maintain accountability and proper handling, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified information and materials.
  • Assist with SCIF, SAPF, and Closed Area operations, maintenance, and accreditation activities.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing visit requests and manage visitor access procedures.
  • Support Insider Threat, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programs.
  • Advise employees regarding foreign travel, foreign contacts, reporting requirements, security incidents, and clearance-related matters.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), Emergency Action Plans, and security documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, program personnel, government security representatives, and Corporate Security leadership.
  • Provide security guidance and support for proposals, new business efforts, and program startup activities.
  • Assist with physical security operations including access control, badge administration, facility inspections, and compliance activities.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

  • 3+ years of experience supporting Industrial Security, Personnel Security, Program Security, or related security disciplines.
  • Experience serving as an AFSO, FSO, CPSO, CSSO, TSCO, Security Specialist, or equivalent security role.
  • Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and government security compliance requirements.
  • Experience utilizing DISS, NISS, NBIS, SWFT, and other government security platforms.
  • Strong understanding of personnel security processing, clearance management, and classified program support.
  • Experience conducting security briefings, inspections, self-assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, leadership, customers, and government representatives.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams and locations.

EVEN BETTER

  • FSO Program Management Certification (FSO-PM).
  • Experience supporting SCI, SAP, or other Special Access Programs.
  • Experience managing or supporting SCIF, SAPF, or Closed Area accreditation efforts.
  • Experience supporting DCSA inspections, audits, and government assessments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting defense contractors, classified government programs, or Intelligence Community customers.
  • Experience developing security training programs and security awareness initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Insider Threat Program administration and OPSEC programs.
