Job description
The United States Air Force is seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Airmen across a wide range of career fields, including aviation, cyber operations, engineering, logistics, healthcare, and more. Airmen are responsible for supporting national defense, global security, and humanitarian missions while embodying the Air Force values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete initial training and maintain readiness to support Air Force missions worldwide.
- Operate and maintain advanced aircraft, space systems, and cyber defense technologies.
- Work as part of a disciplined team to accomplish tactical, operational, and humanitarian objectives.
- Support missions including air superiority, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and global mobility.
- Uphold Air Force standards, values, and professionalism in all duties.
- Continuously develop through specialized training, leadership programs, and technical education.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Age: 17–39 (with parental consent if under 18).
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
- Meet physical, medical, and moral requirements as determined by Air Force standards.
- Achieve qualifying scores on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
