Job description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking motivated individuals to serve in roles that protect America’s maritime interests. Key Responsibilities
- Perform search and rescue operations to save lives at sea.
- Enforce U.S. laws on domestic waterways and conduct maritime security patrols.
- Operate, maintain, and repair Coast Guard vessels, aircraft, and equipment.
- Support disaster relief and humanitarian missions.
- Conduct environmental protection duties, including pollution prevention and response.
- Train continuously to maintain operational readiness and professional development.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Age: 17–31 (with parental consent if under 18).
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted).
- Meet physical, medical, and moral requirements established by the Coast Guard.
- Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
