European Marketing Manager Veterinary Software – Hoofddorp, The Netherlands

What will your job look like

This is a role for someone who wants to have a strong commitment to what they do, in a highly values based, customer centric company. We have some exciting, future oriented marketing projects in the pipeline. From day one, you will be in charge of leading key strategic initiatives with a heavy emphasis on bringing the best in class software for veterinarians to help them provide more care for their furry patients. To be successful in sharing the PHENOM story, you must be able to understand the veterinary practices across different countries, listen to them & create ways to better reach them. This is all about bringing PHENOM customers on a journey with us and we need a great marketer to lead our team to bring everyone along.

Working closely with our commercial leaders to develop, you will implement marketing plans and strategies that will support the growth of PHENOM software solutions and services. Your targeted strategies and tactics will be utilized by the PHENOM salesforce and delivered via multiple channels. In this role you will be leading and managing a team of three Marketing Specialist and you will report into your Director based in the US.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this position you will have a degree in either Communications or Marketing (MBA degree is a plus), with around 5 years of professional marketing experience in a global or regional marketing team within a highly matrix and internationally oriented organization. Managing a small team falls within your experience and is a key factor to be successful in this role.

You will have a solid verbal and written communications skills (English is a major language, others languages are a plus). Ideally you are combining B2C and B2B experience in your previous roles.

Ideally, you will understand what it takes to articulate your value proposition to a veterinarian (or similar) end customer. You are experienced with the software industry and market research, segmentation, branding, customer communication development and digital marketing. You need to know how to manage the interrelationships between global, regional and local teams. These relationships must be managed with a high degree of sophistication and success.
