About the Opportunity

• Maintain and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and ASPE.
• Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Track repair job costs, parts inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability and identify savings opportunities
• Prepare and file HST and other government remittances
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Work with estimators and service advisors to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking
• Treasury and cashflow management

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is an asset
• CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS with practical experience applying these standards
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range

$110,000 to $120,000/year
