Territory Account Manager – Quebec (Montreal East Focus) | Full-Time | Healthcare Distribution Industry

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national distributor in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. This is a field-based role , ideal for someone located in or near East Montreal , and offers the opportunity to manage a robust client portfolio while contributing to a mission-driven, Canadian-owned company.

? Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director of National Independent Sales, the Territory Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of 200–250 independent accounts across Quebec—primarily concentrated in the Montreal area . This position focuses on relationship management (75%) and business development (25%) , with the goal of maximizing client satisfaction and account profitability.

? Key Responsibilities

Manage and strengthen long-term relationships with existing pharmacy clients

Identify opportunities to grow account volume and maximize client engagement

Present tailored programs, offers, and business solutions based on client needs

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support client success

Monitor compliance, performance metrics, and profitability across the territory

Maintain up-to-date client data and track interactions using Salesforce

Participate in regular field visits with a structured call cycle across the territory

Contribute to market share growth through strategic targeting of secondary accounts

Provide market insight and recommend improvements based on competitive trends

? Requirements

University degree or equivalent experience

5 years of sales or account management experience (healthcare, pharma, or related industries preferred)

Strong bilingual communication skills (French & English)

Excellent relationship-building, business acumen, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of pharmacy operations or reimbursement models is an asset

Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM tools)

Comfortable with 50% travel , including some visits to rural areas outside Montreal

Strong customer-first mindset with proven success in account retention

Organized and self-driven, capable of managing a large territory

Experience in pharma distribution, wholesale, or healthcare preferred—but open to candidates from related industries with strong client-facing experience
