Protocol Operations Lead-South Korea

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Protocol Operations & Product Lead to drive execution across our DeFi ecosystem. This is a high-impact role working directly with the CEO to bridge product, protocol operations, business development, legal, and engineering functions.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in scaling our platform by managing DeFi integrations, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring operational excellence across tokenized assets, lending markets, and yield-generating products.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, structured finance, or blockchain product operations who thrive in fast-paced startup environments and enjoy building systems from the ground up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROTOCOL & PRODUCT OPERATIONS

• Serve as the operational owner responsible for driving execution across the organization.
• Own and manage the product and protocol roadmap, including integrations with leading DeFi protocols such as Morpho, Pendle, Curve, and future ecosystem partners.
• Translate business and commercial objectives into actionable product requirements, integration plans, timelines, and partner deliverables.
• Coordinate launch and maintenance activities for lending markets, vaults, collateralized products, and tokenized asset initiatives.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL EXECUTION

• Lead weekly execution processes across engineering, legal, business development, and external partners.
• Manage project timelines and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable processes to improve efficiency and transparency.

RISK, COMPLIANCE & GOVERNANCE

• Coordinate proof-of-reserves reporting, portfolio transparency initiatives, risk disclosures, and operational controls.
• Partner with legal counsel on compliance matters, including product terms, user disclosures, token rights, jurisdictional considerations, and marketing reviews.
• Support governance and risk management frameworks for protocol and treasury operations.

ANALYTICS & REPORTING

• Build and maintain dashboards tracking key business metrics, including:
• Total Value Locked (TVL)
• Liquidity utilization
• Borrow demand
• Yield performance
• User retention
• Wallet concentration
• Generate executive reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & FUNDRAISING

• Support investor relations and fundraising activities through preparation of data rooms, diligence materials, and investor presentations.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners, institutional counterparties, and asset issuers to drive growth initiatives.
• Develop partner case studies and operational reporting to strengthen commercial relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• 3+ years of experience in Product Operations, Protocol Operations, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Strategy, or related roles within the crypto, blockchain, fintech, or digital asset industry.
• Strong understanding of DeFi ecosystems, including:
• Lending protocols
• Vault strategies
• Collateralized products
• Liquidity markets
• Yield generation mechanisms
• Tokenized assets
• Experience working with major DeFi protocols such as Morpho, Pendle, Curve, Aave, Euler, or similar infrastructure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong documentation, project management, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Comfortable working with executives, engineers, legal advisors, institutional investors, and external partners.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-growth startup environment with limited resources and evolving priorities.

PREFERRED

• Experience with Real World Assets (RWA), stablecoins, tokenized funds, credit products, or structured finance.
• Familiarity with regulatory and operational frameworks in Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, or other global crypto jurisdictions.
• Experience supporting fundraising, institutional partnerships, or strategic business development initiatives.
• Background in fintech, investment management, digital assets, or financial services.
