Job description

Honestly Farm Kitchen is a busy farm-to-plate restaurant, organic burger grill, café and farm shop — home to Ireland’s only organic drive-thru. We cook with produce from our own organic farm, Drumanilra Organic Farm, alongside ingredients from like-minded local producers.
We’re now seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The Role
This is a hands-on, senior CDP role in a fast-paced kitchen producing simple, great-tasting food with high-quality ingredients. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and wider team to deliver our menu consistently and to standard.
Full-time 40 hours per week, over 4–5 days (Monday–Sunday)
Restaurant specialises in Breakfast/Brunch, Lunch & early Evening dining. We are open 7 days a week. We close at 7pm.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with SOPs and recipes Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation Manage prep lists, portion control and waste to protect margins Ensure cleaning schedules and food safety standards are consistently met Maintain HACCP records using our Kelsius system Assist with stock control and ordering Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement Support and work collaboratively with junior kitchen team members About You
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen A recognised food-related qualification Strong organisational skills and calm under pressure A team player with clear communication skills A genuine interest in sustainable, seasonal food and good cooking Pay & Benefits
