Supplier Delivery Leader

Job description
As a Supplier Delivery Leader you will serve as the operational owner for the assigned suppliers within a region and/or business segment championing on-time delivery improvement. These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of supplier strategies to improve material availability and enable on-time delivery to GEHC factories and service centers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of supplier delivery improvement plans for assigned GEHC factory and service center - this includes leading supplier capacity planning and development, supplier performance monitoring and improvement planning and supporting supplier selection
- Lead proactive supplier capacity assessment and contingency planning by identifying risks at suppliers and executing plans to sustain capacity
- Proactively monitor supplier delivery performance and develop improvement strategies
- Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and provide objective evidence for root causes of late deliveries
- Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the needs of the business, optimizing material availability with inventory and excess and obsolescence risk
- Work with global cross-functional teams consisting of materials, engineering, quality and sourcing to solve critical delivery problems
- Serve as point of contact for supplier part shortage resolution at assigned GEHC factory and service center
- Negotiate and execute stocking agreements with suppliers
- Drive improvements in sourcing processes to enable improved performance
- Communicate timely, clearly and effectively across key stakeholders including Executives of the company
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Strong experience in Commercial Sourcing, Material Management, or Supply Chain

- APICS certification
