Logistics Engineer

We are looking for a Logistics Engineer with experience of Supply Chain management & material control from the automotive industry. You will be working on customer site with efficiently procure material from suppliers, in accordance with the delivery schedules a/o other agreements to ensure on time deliveries and material availability at point of use. Analyze and act on late/early deliveries and other warnings/alerts. Verify and secure correct parameter settings and master data

Responsibilities

• Secure parts availability from suppliers in the most cost efficient way
• When disruptions appear investigate the reason and initiate dialog with involved parties and coordinate root casue analyzes. Take actions and follow-up corrective actions.
• Consolidate supplier performance and communicate regularly on the performance figures and trends, towards the defined supplier and if necessary towards Purchasing, in order to define action plans needed for improvement. •Ensure targets / KPI´s are met.
• Continous improvements within supply chain i.e transport, inventory, packaging.
• Develop yourself , your team and the processes in which you are involved.
