We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join us at our site in Hyltebruk. Someone with great interest in developing our business, and eager to face this challenge and opportunity!

The team’s mission is to develope and grow Stora Enso’s Biocomposite-business. This role have an attractive opportunity to change the market in a positive direction – by replacing fossile-based materials with renewable solutions and more environmentaly friendly products. In other words – a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Analyze customer segments and related value chains
  • Develop segment strategies for existing and new products, including plan for implementation
  • Establish and execute go-to-market strategies for managed segments
  • New product introduction
  • Interact strategies towards marketing/communication, providing valuable insight to marketing activities that targets brand-, category- and product managers
  • Analyze and define processes for targeting customers’ customer, i.e. brand owners
  • Define content relevant to serve customer and customers’ customer needs and for marketing/communication to create sales material relevant for each segment
  • Support with ideas for new products within application based on customer needs, competitive environment and market trends
  • Support sales organization with valuable insight in segment markets and qualification of potential customers
  • Identify relevant strategies necessary for the team to operate efficiently; market approach, customer need, risk analysis, lessons learned, etc.

Qualifications Education MSc or BSc, preferably focus towards industrial economics, polymer materials, chemical engineering, etc. A relevant MBA is advantageous.

Experience & knowledge Required

  • Business development in general
  • Acquiring market insight and creating business plans
  • Stating and implementing Go to market-strategies

Advantageous

  • Polymer processes knowledge, injection moulding in particular
  • New Product Development-process, plastic products in particular
  • Project management
  • Understanding the necessity of fulfilling customer needs/expectations, used to close customer contact, preferably in many segments and/or segments we target

  • Bold personality, have a real drive and passion for developing something new and are not afraid to test new waters and/or to take tough decisions
