Job description
As our Account Manager you are responsible to source our major subcontractors used in our region North Europe. You will work closely with our teams in the different countries and will also have close contact with our Head Office in Hamburg, Germany.
The position is a part of our Operations Support team and you will support all our countries in our North Europe region which includes UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Rumania.
You will run RFQs (Requests for Quotations) to find the subcontractors that is suitable and adds the most value to our operations. You are responsible for the contracts and the terms and conditions to the specific services. For the larger accounts you will also be the bridge in the communication between our operations and the supplier.
Your input is expected in the budget process where you will provide the cost guideline of the costs related to subcontractors in the different countries.
We would like you to be experienced in sourcing and have good negotiation skills. A background of service sourcing is preferable.
Key accountabilities
- Single point of contact to Suppliers with framework agreements and others
- Monitoring the KPI´s and SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) agreed with Suppliers
- Contribute in the RFQ process for new Suppliers
- Manage monthly reviews with key suppliers
- Monitoring supplier costs contracted/received
- Driving cost improvement and tracking performance through suppliers
- Prepare business cases for implementation of Supplier assistance in other parts of the region
Career / Job experience
- Previous experience in a role managing supplier relations
- Experience in tendering processes
- Experienced in supplier negotiations
- Experienced in dealing with internal and external customers
Education and Qualification
- Bachelor degree (e.g. Business administration or technical degree) or equivalent job experience
- Experience ideally from the wind industry or similar
- Knowledge of operational service business with remote operations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Computer literate, strong on Microsoft Office products
