Join LEONI’s Operations team and play a key role in strengthening Operational Excellence (OPEX) across our production environment. As an OPEX / Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will drive process optimization, implement lean principles and support sustainable performance improvements at plant and country level. This role is essential to ensure long-term efficiency, stability and competitiveness of our operations, especially in the context of organizational transformation and increasing automation.

Your tasks

What will be your responsibilities?

Define and plan the continuous improvement strategy (Hoshin process) in alignment with plant and country management Identify improvement potential and drive the deployment of lean tools and methodologies across production and support functions Monitor OPEX activities using PDCA principles, KPI tracking and dashboards (e.g. OPEX dashboard, ValuePlus) Plan and conduct Lean workshops and CI initiatives to improve shopfloor performance and operational efficiency Lead and coordinate Performance Improvement Projects (PiP), including overhead, shopfloor and production cost optimization Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of efficiency and automation measures Conduct audits and assessments to evaluate site performance and ensure continuous development Support development of skill matrices and training concepts in cooperation with plant and country organizations Drive training and coaching of employees and managers in lean methods and continuous improvement mindset Identify, standardize and implement best practices and lessons learned across the organizatin
