Job description

Lyten is leading an industrial revolution through Lyten 3D Graphene™, a breakthrough supermaterial unlocking a new generation of products — from lithium–sulfur batteries and energy storage systems to concrete admixtures, lightweight composites, and next-generation sensors that are revolutionizing industries. Together, these innovations are making a massive global improvement and driving real-world impact across energy, mobility, construction, and defense.

At Lyten, we believe the most meaningful careers begin with purpose — and with people who want to make a difference. We’re not just developing advanced supermaterials — we’re about to change the world as we know it, reshaping how energy is stored, how products are built, and how progress is made.

We’re entering an exciting growth phase, scaling production across the U.S. and Europe and expanding our team of engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Apply now to join our team and be part of something bigger than yourself — where collaboration, creativity, and purpose come together to build the technologies that will define the next century.

We are expanding our Lyten Poland BESS operations and are looking for a Middle/Senior System Integration Engineer who will lead the integration, validation, and commissioning of advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role is critical to ensuring reliable system performance, seamless deployment, and successful delivery of solutions tailored to customer needs.

As a Middle/Senior System Integration Engineer, you will work across engineering, software, and customer-facing teams to ensure that all system components function together efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Middle/Senior System Integration Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between our product teams and end‑users.
  • You will lead the definition, integration, and validation of BESS projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring that each installation meets performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • The role involves close collaboration with sales, system integrators, hardware engineers, software developers, and field service teams.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of engineering experience in large‑scale energy storage, power systems, or related fields.
  • Proven track record integrating, and commissioning battery‑based storage solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control‑system logic.
  • Proficiency to interpret and analyze software code (firmware, control-logic scripts, configuration files) to verify that embedded BMS and cloud-interface implementations meet functional requirements.
  • Strong communication skills—able to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong analytical mindset, and comfort with field troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor’s (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related discipline; master's preferred.
  • Work with BMS Software, and Cloud teams to align firmware updates, data‑analytics integration, and remote monitoring capabilities.
  • Develop and execute commissioning test plans (factory acceptance test, site acceptance test, performance verification).
  • Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
  • Assist project managers with schedules and risk assessments; provide technical status updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff and maintain a knowledge base of best practices.
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willing to take ownership, fulfilling project lifecycles from conception to completion in a passionate and purpose-driven way
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate closely with other teams in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Be curious and motivated to see your work being used in everyday life by our customers
  • Qualities that we cherish are flexibility, sense of quality, friendliness, motivation to take on challenges, a sense of humor and positive energy
