This role designs, builds, deploys, evaluates, and maintains endpoint-related IT infrastructure controls across both on-premises and cloud environments. It ensures systems operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with enterprise standards by integrating infrastructure management with compliance monitoring and remediation execution.
Acts as the primary technical liaison between Infrastructure, Security, and business teams to design and implement scalable, compliant endpoint solutions while maintaining alignment with risk, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversees endpoint compliance monitoring and drives remediation of configuration and control deficiencies across enterprise devices.
- Tracks endpoint control gaps and ensures timely remediation through patching, configuration updates, and automation.
- Enables a proactive, data-driven remediation strategy leveraging telemetry, reporting, and automation.
- Applies patches, remediations, and configuration changes to address risks across endpoint infrastructure.
- Operates within the bank’s Risk Management Framework, making risk-informed decisions aligned to policy and regulatory requirements.
- Provides proactive monitoring of endpoint health, performance, and compliance posture, responding to real-time alerts.
- Diagnoses complex endpoint, network, and system issues and implements corrective actions.
- Evaluates effectiveness of endpoint controls and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manages and coordinates release of endpoint changes into production, minimizing operational risk.
- Ensures controlled rollout of patches, configuration changes, and remediation activities.
- Supports audit readiness through evidence collection, reporting, and control validation.
- Maintains documentation and traceability of remediation activities and compliance outcomes.
- Serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders on endpoint risk posture and control effectiveness.
- Operates at an enterprise level, influencing stakeholders across Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams.
- Leads through ambiguity to solve complex, non-routine problems.
- Builds strong partnerships with vendors and internal teams to deliver compliant, secure endpoint solutions.

Experience
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in endpoint engineering, infrastructure, or security/compliance domains
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale remediation, compliance, or infrastructure initiatives

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
