Method-crm
Intermediate Full-Stack Developer
Salary
Job description
Opportunity
Method is the operating system thousands of small businesses run their day on — purpose-built for QuickBooks and Xero users who have outgrown spreadsheets and generic tools. Our no-code customization engine lets customers design workflows that fit their business, and we’re now layering AI on top to help them build and automate those workflows faster than ever.
The Growth team owns the moment that matters most: turning a curious signup into a committed subscriber. We work on the top-of-funnel journey — signup, onboarding, activation, and billing — running continuous experiments to improve conversion at every step. Everything we do is in service of one goal: increasing the percentage of signups that subscribe.
We’re looking for an Intermediate Full-Stack Developer who wants to ship work that moves real metrics for real businesses, and who already works AI-first in their craft.
The Role
You’ll join a focused, cross-functional Growth team. Your work lives in the top-of-funnel stack: signup UI, account API, analytics, billing, onboarding, and subscription — systems that directly affect whether a new user stays or leaves.
As an Intermediate Full-Stack Developer, you’ll operate with periodic review and coaching from your manager and team lead, own implementation decisions within approved experiment scope, and grow toward stronger autonomy over time.
- Ship experiment variations end-to-end across React / TypeScript and .NET Core — from hypothesis to production.
- Work across the full user journey — the systems that bring new users in, get them to value, and keep them subscribed.
- Contribute to improving the early customer experience, helping users find value in the product as quickly as possible.
- Support a data-driven team by helping instrument and monitor the features you build.
- Operate in an AI-native planning → execution → verification loop: use AI to understand requirements, generate and refactor code, and validate before shipping. Own what you ship.
- Write automated tests alongside your implementations, working closely with QA to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with your team across planning, delivery, and regular cross-functional touchpoints.
- Escalate early when experiment scope expands, architecture is affected, customer data integrity is at risk, or AI-generated output can’t be safely verified.
What You Bring
We know the ideal candidate doesn’t exist. If you don’t check every box, we’d still love to hear from you — growth potential is real here. That said, the AI-first bar, trust-and-verify judgment, and customer-trust instinct are non-negotiable regardless of background.
- 3+ years building and shipping production web applications across front-end and back-end.
- Strong backend fundamentals in C# / .NET Core, or equivalent in Java, Node, or a comparable stack.
- Strong frontend fundamentals in React / TypeScript, or equivalent in Angular or Vue.
- Experience with relational and / or NoSQL persistence and ORM.
- Solid grasp of API design, real-world debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing as a first-class part of delivery.
- Comfortable with experiment-driven development: shipping lean MVPs, reading results, and iterating.
- Comfortable with tasks with clear direction and close coaching; communicates trade-offs and uncertainty clearly.
- AI-first in your daily workflow (Codex, Copilot, Claude, or equivalent) with the engineering judgment to understand and own what you ship.
- Sprint / Kanban or ScrumBan experience in an Agile environment
Bonus points if you have any of the following
- Experience with product analytics tools — Amplitude, Datadog, or similar.
- Familiarity with A / B testing infrastructure, feature flagging, or experimentation frameworks.
- Experience with billing or subscription systems.
- Experience with no-code or low-code platforms, or products built around configurability.
- Linux, Docker, Redux, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, MassTransit, CI / CD pipeline, Python, AWS.
- Microsoft or AWS certifications.
