Your impact
As an Advisor, Contract Management at Boddington Gold Mine , you'll be a trusted commercial partner to site operations, helping shape how Newmont engages and manages strategic suppliers and contractors.
Working closely with operational, maintenance and project teams, you'll drive commercial value across the full contract lifecycle - from sourcing and negotiations through to performance management and continuous improvement.
Your ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and deliver practical commercial solutions will directly contribute to safe, reliable and cost-effective site performance.

As part of our team you will
- Partner with operations, maintenance and project teams to deliver commercially sound contractor and supplier outcomes
- Lead sourcing and tendering activities, including market engagement, evaluation, negotiation and contract award
- Provide commercial advice on scope development, contractor onboarding and supplier relationship management
- Manage contracts through the full lifecycle, including variations, extensions, renewals, claims and dispute resolution
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure safety, service delivery and commercial obligations are met
- Support contract owners with cost management, risk mitigation and performance improvement initiatives
- Drive compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements and contracting standards
- Maintain contract documentation and reporting within SAP, ARIBA and other contract management systems
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase value and strengthen commercial capability across site
Prerequisites for your success in the role
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline
- Experience in contract management, procurement, supply chain or commercial roles within mining, resources, construction or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract law and procurement processes
- Experience managing supplier and contractor agreements within operational or project environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to influence outcomes and balance competing priorities
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience using SAP, ARIBA or similar contract management systems
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
- A commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
Your work environment
This site-based role is located at Newmont's Boddington Gold Mine, approximately 130km south of Perth, and operates on a family-friendly 5/2, 4/3 roster .
As a valued member of the Commercial team, you'll work closely with operational, maintenance and project stakeholders, gaining firsthand exposure to one of Australia's largest gold mining operations. With the opportunity to engage across a diverse portfolio of contracts, you'll play an important role in supporting safe, efficient and value-driven outcomes for the site.
