Job Description

Land Surveyor

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Land Surveyor to join our construction supervision team for a prestigious infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.

The project scope includes pedestrian bridges, roads, utilities, street scape and associated infrastructure works. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out field surveying activities and supporting the site supervision team to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

•

Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic calculations.

•

Interface with client and contractors to verify project survey requirements.

•

Ensure surveying activities are completed within project schedules and budget requirements.

•

Verify setting-out, levels and service locations, ensuring protection of existing utilities.

•

Prepare survey sketches and maintain accurate survey records, including field books and calculations.

•

Measure and verify completed work quantities as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

•

Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or equivalent.

•

Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure projects.

•

Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) surveying standards and regulations.

•

Proficient in CAD and survey software, including Total Station, GPS, and data collectors.

•

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•

Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and management.

•

Strong commitment to health, safety, and safe work practices.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

•

Good understanding of construction sequences and standard industry work procedures.

•

Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) Surveyor License/Approval in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
