The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division.

Key Responsibilities

Operator II

  • Assemble medical device products with precision and accuracy
  • Work within a cleanroom following strict SOPs, GMP, and FDA guidelines
  • Utilize microscopes regularly for inspection and assembly (must‑have skill)
  • Inspect, test, package, and box products as needed
  • Rotate and cross‑train across various workstations; flexibility is required
  • Follow detailed rules, guidelines, and quality standards
  • Stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs
  • Report to work on time and adhere to the assigned shift schedule
  • Use tools such as electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers
  • Complete multi‑week training across departments

Required Qualifications

1–3 years’ experience in a cleanroom environment

Previous experience using microscopes

Medical device assembly experience preferred

Ability to speak, read, and write English

Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred

High School Diploma or GED required

Physical & Cleanroom Requirements

Must gown up daily: hair net, beard net (if applicable), shoe covers, safety glasses

Ability to stand for long periods

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without issue

Flexibility to work and train in multiple departments

Ability to learn processes and follow detailed instructions

Willingness to adapt to different workstations (no inflexibility)
