Accounts Receivable Deduction Analyst
Location: Orlando, FL - Remote
Pay: $23 - 25/hr
Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Deduction Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for accurate reconciliation of customer accounts and managing deduction resolution processes, with a strong emphasis on analytical thinking, attention to detail, and cross-department collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
•
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing/payment issues
•
Review government contracts and validate bid pricing
•
Coordinate with Accounting, Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams
•
Investigate and analyze deductions, issue credits or rebills as appropriate
•
Retrieve payment notifications and manage documentation for audits
•
Create and maintain process documentation and provide team training
Qualifications
•
3–5 years of high-volume AR/deductions experience
•
Proficient in Excel and Outlook
•
Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience
•
Familiarity with government billing platforms (e.g., WAWF, SAM.gov) a plus
•
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
•
Experience with government contracts and CAGE codes
•
Basic accounting knowledge (credits/debits)
•
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
