Senior Account Executive – Employee Benefits

Hybrid |

We’re seeking Senior Account Executive who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You’ll Do / Your Impact

Client Partnership and Risk Strategy

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
  • Design comprehensive self funded and fully insured benefit programs for large clients
  • Consult with clients on benefit design contribution strategies and renewal planning
  • Analyze claims experience and utilization data to support cost containment and wellbeing strategies
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement benefit solutions

Operational Excellence

  • Request renewal and marketing information and negotiate with carriers and vendors
  • Prepare client presentations outlining current programs and future strategies
  • Manage compliance requirements including ACA FMLA and ERISA
  • Support new business strategy and client presentations in partnership with production teams
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness across all client deliverables and service activities

Strategic Contribution

  • Identify sales and cross selling opportunities to drive account growth and profitability
  • Support business development initiatives and long term client retention
  • Lead and mentor Account Management team members to support development and process improvement
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Bring

Required

  • Ten or more years of experience managing large employee benefits accounts
  • Strong knowledge of self funded health plans and advanced healthcare strategies
  • Experience with benefit design modeling contribution strategies and financial analysis
  • Strong communication analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other Office applications

Preferred

  • Brokerage or carrier experience
  • Experience working with data analytics platforms such as Vital Incite Sprinbuk BenefitFocus Innovu or similar
  • Professional certifications in employee benefits or human resources

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Compensation: Salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 per year
