Senior Account Executive – Employee Benefits

We’re seeking Senior Account Executive who will make a meaningful impact by delivering proactive client service, thoughtful benefits strategy, and a high-touch experience for both clients and employees.

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do / Your Impact
Client Partnership and Risk Strategy
- Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Design comprehensive self funded and fully insured benefit programs for large clients
- Consult with clients on benefit design contribution strategies and renewal planning
- Analyze claims experience and utilization data to support cost containment and wellbeing strategies
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement benefit solutions
Operational Excellence
- Request renewal and marketing information and negotiate with carriers and vendors
- Prepare client presentations outlining current programs and future strategies
- Manage compliance requirements including ACA FMLA and ERISA
- Support new business strategy and client presentations in partnership with production teams
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness across all client deliverables and service activities
Strategic Contribution
- Identify sales and cross selling opportunities to drive account growth and profitability
- Support business development initiatives and long term client retention
- Lead and mentor Account Management team members to support development and process improvement
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement across the organization
QUALIFICATIONS
What You Bring
Required
- Ten or more years of experience managing large employee benefits accounts
- Strong knowledge of self funded health plans and advanced healthcare strategies
- Experience with benefit design modeling contribution strategies and financial analysis
- Strong communication analytical and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other Office applications
Preferred
- Brokerage or carrier experience
- Experience working with data analytics platforms such as Vital Incite Sprinbuk BenefitFocus Innovu or similar
- Professional certifications in employee benefits or human resources

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation: Salary range: $160,000 – $180,000 per year
