We are currently seeking a Production and Quality Assurance Supervisor. Base Salary: $91,391 - $98,461, this role is eligible for an annual bonus. Location: El Paso, TX (Onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM-4:30PM, flexibility required with possible Saturdays as needed. Travel: Limited, possible travel for training. Partner cross functionally with the Planning, Production, Maintenance and Warehouse teams to maximize results. Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements. Champion and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including the pursuit of TPM Provide guidance to factory employees to ensure the Safety/Environmental programs are implemented and maintained. Manage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies for quality and production. Assist the Factory Manager with leading all company and Local quality/safety initiatives, audits, local awareness & compliance while also meeting Primo Brands key performance indicators (KPIs). Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for all quality and customer complaint issues within the plant. Use continuous improvement methodologies and projects to improve and streamline processes. Ensure plant compliance and record retention in accordance with current federal, state, and local legislation on good hygiene practices, good manufacturing practices (GMP's), HACCP, NFPA, OSHA and EPA. Cultivates relationship with the local law enforcement, local fire department and other emergency services to provide harmonious working relationships in the community and Build relationships with frontline team members, internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets. Lead incident investigations, monitor incident root cause & corrective actions for issues such as fire, hazardous materials, at risk conditions, security, quality issues and/or non-compliance issues to prevent recurrence. Provide training and onboarding to new hires and factory employees as it relates to QA and Safety. Additional duties as assigned. Plan and manage the day to day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets. Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements. Champion and lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including the pursuit of TPM Utilize and model our beliefs in the execution of daily work activities and decision making Build relationships with frontline team members, internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets. Maintaining safe environment and safety practices in all business initiatives Create and maintain a safe and positive work environment Understand and adhere to internal and external regulations, procedures & policies Ensure that a high quality of products, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained. Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and off floor review meetings. Review daily maintenance effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the Technical team to get resolution. Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in physical science is preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 3 or more years of experience in quality assurance within clean (food, bev, pharma) manufacturing and 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity Demonstrated application of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's) and knowledge of GMP's Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic design Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulations as it relates to FDA and state requirements preferred. Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and business management software (SAP preferred) Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives on tight deadlines and delegate accordingly. Effective communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action. Solid problem-solving abilities with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity. Demonstrated track record of developing employees. Ability and willingness to respond to afterhours calls for critical issues and provide weekend coverage a few times/year.
