Aon is looking for an Associate Partner, Employee Rewards Boston, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Denver, San Francisco or near any major Aon Office Aon is seeking a commercially driven Associate Partner, Employee Rewards to accelerate growth across broad-based compensation and workforce rewards solutions. This senior client-facing role will originate and deliver complex compensation engagements, deepen relationships with RMCD (Radford McLagan Compensation Database) clients across priority industry sectors, and connect clients to Aon’s broader Human Capital capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting experience, proven revenue generation, and the ability to lead integrated teams in delivering market-informed, data-driven rewards strategies that help organizations attract, retain, and engage talent. What the day will look like Commercial growth and market leadership: Originate, shape, and close new Employee Rewards opportunities, generating $1.5M+ in annual revenue while advancing sector strategy, thought leadership, and external market presence. Client advisory and solution delivery: Lead complex compensation engagements spanning job architecture, career frameworks, job evaluation, market benchmarking, pay competitiveness, base pay structures, and incentive design. Integrated Human Capital solutions: Connect clients to the full breadth of Aon’s Human Capital capabilities through the Aon United model, delivering integrated solutions across rewards, talent, workforce planning, pay transparency, pay equity, and AI-enabled workforce strategies. Practice innovation and capability building: Help shape the future of the Employee Rewards practice by advancing new tools, methodologies, AI-enabled solutions, and differentiated offerings aligned to evolving client needs. People leadership and collaboration: Guide large, cross-geography teams, build strong internal networks, mentor colleagues, and contribute to talent development across the practice, with potential direct management responsibilities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with demonstrated career progression in consulting or senior rewards leadership roles. Recent broad-based compensation consulting experience within a boutique or full-service consulting environment. Proven ability to independently originate, sell, and deliver $1.5M+ in annual consulting revenue. Extensive experience advising senior leadership on total rewards strategy, compensation program design, analytics, governance, and market survey methodologies. Demonstrated success leading complex client engagements, managing senior stakeholder relationships, and translating data-driven insights into clear, compelling business recommendations. Strong quantitative, analytical, commercial, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex client and leadership environments. Established ability to lead diverse, cross-geography teams, manage multiple major projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree or MBA highly desired. Required Experience: project management, risk management, and business communications, compensation management, consulting, and customer relationship management (CRM), data analysis,employee compensation and benefits, incentive programs. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 - $250,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
