Responsibilities

  • The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
  • Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
  • Does related work, as required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience
  • National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment)
  • Current BLS
