Development Engineer at Nynas

Nynas Manufacturing in Nynäshamn is now looking for an experienced Development Engineer – Process Technology.

The successful candidate holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering. Experience within process or oil refining industry is meriting but you can also be newly graduated. Fluency in English is required and proficient writing skills are vital.

As a Development Engineer, you will contribute to maintain and develop the Nynas’ hydrotreating technology by performing studies related to process development and optimization as well as crude oil and catalyst evaluation.

At the Process Laboratory, we are utilizing pilot scale distillation and hydrotreatment units for development studies at simulating all production units at the Nynas refineries. The studies are performed in project teams consisting of a Laboratory Engineer, a Development Engineer and a Specialist from the department. The Development Engineer collects and evaluates results from the studies, summarizes results in reports and presents conclusions/recommendations within the company.
