Program Manufacturing Engineer, Automotive

M.Sc or B.Sc with 5 years or more work experience from X-functional teams in international organisation and R&D, Purchase, SQM and especially Manufacturing organizations, preferably within automotive exterior, interior, under body, upper body and chassie.

We are happy to see an application from you with strong Communicative and Project Leadership skills, who can get people to deliver with a smile and get technical things in the manufacturing area solved, have the ability to priorities and act as a role model for result oriented humble project management. Knowledge about Operational excellence, quality tools & follow up systems (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, QS9000/TS16949) is essential. Experience to implement & coordinate complex quality improvement processes (DoE, 6 sigma, 8D) is meritorious.

Join the PSQM team on our journey towards 100% Supplier and Part Readiness in function of flawless launches of new product programs in our clients manufacturing plants. The PSQM team acts as a cross functional interface between several functions within Automotive such as R&D, Purchasing, MP&L, Manufacturing and the external supplier functions.

As PROGRAM MANUFACTURING ENGINEER you will actively drive the Manufacturing Engineering deliverables for vehicle UNDER BODY, LIGHT WEIGHT programs within the manufacturing area. Securing a quality & capacity assured launch at the internal/external supplier sites, in line with the program requirements and time plan, is your challenge.

The job includes travelling to suppliers and on-site presence at the manufacturing launch locations. Depending on the program and phase frequent travelling might be required.
