Development Engineer - Nynas

Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn is currently looking for a Development Engineer at the Process Technology Department.

Key responsibilities As a Development Engineer, you will contribute to maintain and develop the Nynas’ hydrotreating technology by performing studies related to process development and optimization as well as crude oil and catalyst evaluation. At the Process Laboratory, there are pilot scale distillation and hydrotreatment units that are utilized at development studies for simulating all production units at the Nynas refineries. The studies are performed in project teams consisting of a Laboratory Engineer, a Development Engineer and a Specialist from the department. The Development Engineer is running the project and is responsible for planning, execution, evaluation of results, reporting and presenting conclusions/recommendations from the study within the company.

Candidate profile As a successful candidate we believe you have the following background:

• Master of Science in Chemical Engineering
• Some years of work experience, preferably from processing or oil refining industry.
• Fluency in English is required, and proficient writing skills are vital.
