Associate Director (Real Estate Business Consultant-IOT)

Requirements

• Experience : 13+ years
• Strong experience in Business Consulting, Digital Transformation, or Technology Consulting with significant experience in the Real Estate domain.
• Strong domain expertise across Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Property Management, Asset Management, Leasing, Facility Management, Capital Projects, and Portfolio Management.
• Experience working with Real Estate owners, operators, developers, REITs, facility management companies, or property technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of PropTech ecosystems, Smart Building technologies, IoT platforms, Digital Twins, BIM, AI/Generative AI, analytics, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience with Real Estate platforms such as Yardi, MRI, SAP RE-FX, Archibus, Planon, IBM TRIRIGA, CAFM, CMMS, IWMS, or similar enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to connect business outcomes with technology solutions and develop strategic digital transformation roadmaps.
• Experience supporting consulting practices through proposal creation, solution development, RFP responses, and client presentations.
• Strong business consulting skills including process assessment, business case development, ROI analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with technology, product, engineering, cloud, AI, and IoT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders.
• Experience supporting consulting engagements related to Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Capital Projects Technology, Smart Buildings, or Enterprise Digital Transformation will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Real Estate owners, operators, developers, REITs, and facility management organizations to understand business challenges and recommend technology-enabled transformation strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across Commercial Office, Retail, Industrial, Logistics, Residential, Multifamily, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, and other Real Estate asset classes.
• Advise clients on portfolio and asset management, leasing lifecycle, tenant experience, property and facility management, capital planning, sustainability, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities to improve Net Operating Income (NOI), reduce operating costs, enhance asset value, and mitigate business risks through digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead and contribute to digital transformation programs involving PropTech platforms, Smart Buildings, IoT, AI/Generative AI, Digital Twins, Building Information Modeling (BIM), enterprise data platforms, analytics, and ESG solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technology roadmaps, solution architectures, and implementation strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Conduct digital maturity assessments, Smart Building readiness assessments, technology evaluations, and business process reviews to identify transformation opportunities.
• Develop business cases, ROI models, investment justifications, and executive recommendations for technology initiatives.
• Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, executive presentations, and strategic advisory engagements with senior business stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product managers, engineering teams, cloud specialists, AI experts, and IoT teams to ensure successful solution delivery and business alignment.
• Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design, proposal development, client presentations, and technology consulting engagements.
• Develop thought leadership assets including whitepapers, point-of-view documents, case studies, blogs, and presentations to strengthen the Real Estate consulting practice.
• Provide governance, strategic oversight, and outcome tracking across transformation initiatives to ensure successful business outcomes.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
